My Complaint Description:
I purchased a towel product from Amazon on the basis of reviews done on that product. I realized that the 5 star reviews done are fake as those who had done reviews got the product for free so I inferred that product is not worth having and I cancelled the product before I received it. But still they delivered the product to me even after cancelling the product. Since, I wasn't at home so my parents accepted the product and paid cash on delivery. When I came to know regarding this I called customer care & told them to refund the money to me & take their product & refund should be done in the form of cheque , not gift voucher. I also wrote a mail in this regard and they assured me that refund will be done in the form of cheque. So I returned the product but when I received the refund, it was still in the form of Gift Voucher which basically means that my money is locked with Amazon & I will have to use that 399 for shopping on amazon only. I called the customer care in this regard and they were not at all helpful. They said they can't do anything in this regard now. I confronted them that why didn't they adhered to my request for which they had no answer. They didn’t comply to their own words. Earlier, they had convinced me that the money will be sent in form of cheque but now they are not doing so. I want my money back & I don't want their Gift Voucher. Read below for customer care mail to me regarding that order but they did not adhere to it.

Please do not worry, one the pickup is done and once the package reaches the seller we will process the refund through cheque.
It generally takes up to 5-10 business days for the item to reach the seller once it is picked up.
I will personally follow up with the order and make sure that the refund is processed through cheque.Once the refund is processed through cheque I will confirm you with an email.
