Dear Sir,

I wan to lodge the complain against the online shopping portal www.askmebazaar.com .

I bought the Sony 10000 mAh Power Bank form the portal, my order number was AB1718031. I submitted the order on 21st march, 2015. The product was not properly working and was not as per the specification. They said that it is 10000 mAh power bank but it was not able to charge my 2400 mAh mobile. So i decided to return the product. They collected the product back and the PickUp Recipt no for the product collected is ASR126396.

My complaint is as follows.

(1) I was billed twice for this product, even after the credit card payment is done successfully, they said that due to some technical error it was not updated in their system and they insisted me to pay cash on delivery by promising me that I will get the refund for additional payment in one week, which I have not yet received. Charging me twice for same product is surely a FRAUD.

(2) The product is also returned because it was not as per the specification, the refund amount is not yet received by me.

The cos of the product is Rs 624/- and my claim amount i Rs 1248/- (because i was billed twice once by my credit card no. 4687426274012177 and once by cash on delivery.)

I have called on their customer care phone no 044 4444 4444 for 5 times till now, they alway promise me that I will get the refund within 2 days. Every time I call them they do a promise after promise and none of the promise is fulfilled. I have also sent them the email for the status of refund but they are not replying to email also. Apart form the email address and the customer care number there is no other information or contact detail on their website. Emails are not replied back and customer care is not helping and just giving false promises one after another.

I would like to claim my Refund amount Rs 1248/- along with Rs 10000/- more for the mental harassment they have caused me in following up for the complaint.

I also doubt that the product which i received was a duplicate product and not that of Sony. If this is true it is a big crime. But i don't want to waste my further time and energy fighting for that matter.

I demand the total compensation or RS 11248/- (1248 which is refund and Rs 10000/- compensation for the mental pain i went through due to their non professional behavior.
