Customer complaint to BPL Ltd – Thursday, 14 March 2019
Dear Sirs,
SYNOPSIS OF GRIEVANCE
1. BPL 20 Litres Microwave Oven was purchased in October 2018
2. It stopped functioning from November 2018.
3. Now we are in March 2019.
4. Three complaints given to BPL Ltd. It has still not been repaired properly and still not functioning.
5. Following are complaint details –
a. 12Dec2018 — comp number : R181212CHE02063
b. 17Dec2018 — BPL new complaint # R1812 17CHE 02196
c. . Complaint number R1812 24CHE02396— Dated 24Dec2018
My biggest grievance is that your Service Centre supervisor mr. Sankar (Ph No: 9123544412) is totally against BPL and also its customers. In his first conversation, he implied BPL is selling such outdated, faulty and unserviceable products and BPL customers who buy these stupid products are utter idiots who keep bothering service people, who are NOT and who SHOULD NOT be bothered.
Thereafter I made 10 to 15 calls to him and HE DID NOT BOTHER TO PICK UP THE PHONE.
I HAVE NOW BROUGHT TO YOUR ATTENTION THE GIST OF THE PROBLEM.
I am a senior citizen and really do not have the energy to run after such callous and thankless fellows who do not have respect for BPL, ( who provides them a livelihood and regular income) and BPL’s customers, even if they are elderly people.
Under these circumstances, IN ORDER TO RESOLVE THIS SERVICE ISSUE AND TO GET MY BRAND NEW BPL 20 Litres Microwave Oven, WORKING AGAIN, AFTER 3 MONTHS OF BREAKDOWN,
What should I do, File a complaint to the Chennai Police Commissioner and/or to the Consumer Court, both under “Laws protecting rights and interests of senior citizens in India” (grievances regarding these provisions are handled by the Ministry of Justice and Empowerment.)
Please Do give me your guidance and assistance to get this long pending issue resolved.
