My Complaint Description:
My name is 'S.B Singh' and I am from Ahmedabad. I am an Airtel Digital tv subscriber and my customer ID is '3003958798'. I had two connections on same customer ID one year back but I cancelled my first connection. Since then I was using only one connection until July this year but Airtel started my previous connection without my permission and started deducting my balance. I came to know about this after one month and till that time I was already charged.

I raised this concern on 17th August and since then I am not getting any resolution. The customer service representative informed that 1st connection was started by Airtel Digital TV as it was only a temporary cancellation. I complained that I was not informed about this at the time of cancellation so the agent asked me to submit my set top box.

On 23 August I submitted the set top box with STB number '03084704670' and VC card number '000033408667' so that Airtel Digital TV can finally cancel my account and refund my pending charges from July for the above mentioned VC number.

Yesterday '4/9/2015', Upon calling the customer care I spoke to 'Ravi Lodhi' , He refused to give me refund from from July and informed me that as I raised my concern on 17th August so the refund will only be processed 17th August.

Is this a joke? First you start my connection without permission and then you give me different answers every time I call you.

Today '5/9/2015', my dth connection stopped working so I recharged my account with Rs 250 but the services did not start for my active connection. On calling the customer care I was told that the connection will be activated in 20 Minutes. I waited for 4 Hour and contacted them again. I spoke to 'Vijay Tiwari' and he informed me that all of my connection is closed. He gave me another case ID '46594535'.

Conclusion: Airtel Digital TV started my one year old cancelled connection without my permission and refused to refund my charges and after that they cancelled my active connection that too without my permission. So I want my refund of the charges and also the refund of Rs 250 that I recharged the account today as I was completely unaware.
