My Complaint Description:
Our families have sent a parcel of gifts out little princess (grand daughter) for her birthday party through this company. The company's franchise took the order on the 2nd with a promise of delivery within a week. A week later, there are no whereabouts of the parcel and the local franchise in Baroda didn't know where to find it.
The headquarters in Delhi told us that the parcel was on hold for 4 days; but failed to give a reason while the local franchise had no idea of it. To top it off, the lady was rude and hung up the phone on the customer (my son-in-law).
The update on their website only says 'FedEx' label created; but when contacted; FedEx told my son-in-law that the shipper, in this case "Starage Experess" hasn't shipped it yet and FedEx doesn't have it.
So, instead of the courier reaching to USA at my daughter's place on the promised date of 10th June, it is nowhere to be found with a false impression given to us today that it might be en-route to USA now. It almost has zero chance of reaching to my daughter's place before the birthday, ruining the moods and celebration plans.
Apart from wasting time and money on a false promise of on-time delivery, this caused a lot of mental stress to me and my family as well as my daughter's family in the USA.
We demand that Starage Express be held accountable and pay for playing with customers' emotions and wasting time and money.
