My Complaint Description:
I have bought HTC Desire 816 worth Rs 24000/- approx on 24/06/2014 from CROMA, Bandra, Mumbai The mobile carries warranty of 1 year for handset. The device stopped working on 07/05/2015 and was submitted on 08/05/2015 to HTC's service center in Kurla, Mumbai. (TVS Electronics Ltd, F-15, Kohinoor Mall, Kohinoor City, Off LBS Marg, Kurla(W), Mumbai).

The person at service center informed that it will be repaired in a day or two and if otherwise, he will inform me. I did not received any call from him. After continuous follow up on HTC customer care 1800 266 3566, I was informed that I will be getting my phone by so n so date . Multiple dates were given every time but with no result. They keep on harassing me saying that its under process. They assured me of replacement but that also they refused saying "Committee" has rejected the request. The reason was not informed. Nowadays, without a smartphone life becomes to difficult. I am a professional banker/Chartered Accountant and having trouble without my mobile as so many things I am used to do on mobile. A company like HTC can not repair/replace the device even after 23 days. I am so much tired calling them, waiting and then to hear its "under Process". One can send an item from India to US in 20 days, but within India itself my problem is not getting desired resolution. I have a CDMA sim which I can not use in any other phone since CDMA SLOT is not very common. I am paying Rs 1500 unnecessary for that SIM. Further, I am forced to carry a small mobile as I can not afford to buy an expensive mobile like HTC Desire 816 immediately. I request you to please help me in getting either replacement or compensation. Please help.
