My Complaint Description:
Hello, my name is Dr. Parth Nayak. I bought Dell venue tablet 8 on 4th July 2015. After a month I came to know whenever i used to start internet data by sim card or by wifi, my tablet didn’t worked at all. All applications were getting hang. Due to personal reasons i had to go out of state, but as my tablet was not working, i left it at home. I returned home in January, and i filed a complaint in dell customer care. I was asked by customer care people to show it to service center, which is 45kms away from my home and i have to take leave from my work to go there. I went there and got it serviced. Next day itself it had the same problem, so i again contacted customer care, again i was asked to go to service center, again i got it serviced. But, same problem continued. I went 4 times to service center, then i asked them for permanent solution. After long arguments, they gave me an option for replacement, I agreed for it. I got replaced tablet after 2 weeks. The day i got replaced tablet, the same day it was not able to download any application. I called technician of dell. I was asked by technician to reset factory settings. I did reset it, after that application was downloaded, but the same problem occurred with this tablet too. All applications started getting hang. It was even worse than my previous tablet. So, I again called dell customer care and asked them for refund. They made me talk to many people there, first technician, then supervisor, then escalating team. Finally i was told that they will replace one more time. I told them what if again the same problem occurs with the 2nd replaced tablet. They said how can i say what will happen to the 2nd tablet. My concern was if it has happened once then it is co-incidence, but it has happened twice, so i need to be assuring before agree for another replacement. They said we cannot assure for anything. As my warranty will be over on 3rd July, I asked to increase my warranty period if they want me to agree for one more replacement. They said we can extend it up to 1month maximum. Any product can work properly till 1month, so i wanted them to extend it for 1 more year, because i haven’t been able to use my tablet whole year. It has been in service center more than 6 months. They were very rude and said that if i want than i can go for customer protection, but they WILL NOT REFUND MONEY AT ANY COST. So here now, I want to submit a complaint and want your help. According to them, i paid 15000rs for that tablet, and after my warranty gets over I will have to pay for all the next services if tablet doesn’t works properly, so that means i paid 15000rs, and i was not able to use tablet properly even for a month, and I still have to pay for more services.
Please help me, I need your help as soon as possible, because after 3rd July my warranty period will be over and I won’t be able to do anything further.
