I regret to inform you that this is the worst experience in dealing with a service provider. I am representing my case and complaint as below :
My parents subscribed for new internet connection on 18th May 2016. The formalities were initiated in 1st week of May 2016 and completed through your sales person Mr. Bhargav. The plan we had selected was 1 MBPS unlimited @ 8,150/- for 12 months plus 3 months free as per the scheme. Eventually the next day we realised that there is a better plan of 300GB usage for 1 year @ 5,120/-.
In view of this we again got in touch with Mr. Bhargav and he came to take the payment for the new plan. He insisted on cash payment as we were changing the plan. We paid him 5,120/- in cash. He did not return us the cheque of 8,150/- which we had paid earlier. In view of this we mutually agreed to make a stop payment for the issued cheque. He took back the receipt for the old plan and issued us the new receipt of 5,120/- for 300GB plan.
When the internet connection started on 18th May 2016, we found that the plan activated was 1MBPS. In view of this we also made a representation to GTPL vide emails however, no change was made. Eventually, Mr. Bhargav retuned the cash amount of 5,120/- on 16th or 17th June 2016 which he had taken as per our need for changing the plan. He also took back the receipt issued for the amount as he had returned our cash amount to us.
Eventually, we started receiving calls from some Mr. Sagar Solanki vide mobile no. 8866514332 for making payment as the cheque issued for 8,150/- had bounced. We explained to him the whole story however, he refused to accept any of our explanations. He even informed that no email was received by GTPL in this regard which is incorrect as the trailing mails are available with us as well as you.
GTPL disconnected our connection and informed that the connection would be restored once payment of 8,150/- plus 200/- penalty for cheque bounce was made. Actually, their representative could not return us the cheque and to avoid double payment, we made stop payment of the cheque and the cheque actually did not bounce.
We even made the cash payment of the said amount with penalty on 17th June 2016 evening even though it was not at all logical.
This is highly unprofessional attitude and we requested GTPL to kindly refund our entire amount as we would not like to have internet connection from GTPL. Until now we have got no response from them. We just get email from customer support that they have passed on the information to the concerned and they will get back to us.
We feel we have been cheated and have incurred metal harassment from GTPL.
