My Complaint Description:
I made an 9 months EMI transaction of 50k for at Spice Retail Store at Sahara Mall Gurgaon to purchase iPhone through HDFC Bank Credit Card on 24 August 2015 . But I lost my wallet in which I kept my Credit Card on the very next day so just to avoid misuses of my Credit card I blocked my Credit card. After 2 or 3 days I got sms from the bank that there's a problem in converting your EMI kindly contact the bank after reading that sms from the bank I quickly called up the bank and narrated my the complete story, then the bank executive told me to apply for a fresh card and emi will be converted itself which I did right away. After few days I received my new credit card but when I saw my Credit Card Statement EMI was not converted. After that I called up bank and inform them to cross check and resolve the issue (as I wasn't and still I'm not in a condition to to make the complete payment as per the statement) they told me to send an email at the customer service. I send an email to customers service about the problem I got a reply from [email protected] telling me to write a complaint to the same customer care. As my email is being ignored I called up to the customer care and narrated the whole story everytime I called (at least 70 time approx) then the executive told me not to make the payment on that first month so I didn't make the payment. From next month I started getting threatening kind of a call from the collection team that police will reach my place if I don't make the payment. I was totally frustrated and mentally tired of thinking who is going to help me on the issue. So I started making Rs. 10k payments on monthly basis which is already now 50k and I made payment of Rs. 5k on 15/06/2016.
For God sake someone please help me HDFC Bank has cheated on me I'm not a son of rich parents. I purchased that phone without eating my breakfast and lunch while working in a retail company as an executive.
