My Complaint Description:
Recently I converted my Vodafone Prepaid number to Idea Postpaid. While converting the Idea Executive explained me that with INR 299 monthly rental, I will be getting 500 Minutes Free Local Mobiles + Landlines, 750 MB 3G Data and 300 Local SMS. Even the plan details written on Idea Form which I fill while purchasing. But when connection got active, I was told by Idea customer care with your plan you will only get 500 Minutes on Local Mobiles and will be charged extra for Landline calling.
Then I contacted the exec and he told me that after connection got active he has to sent email to concerned dept for Landlines calling and will be activated within 48 hours, I again contacted him after 72 hours and he behaved extreme rude like you will only get what you have now and do have favor idea for purchasing Idea connection. It's been almost month but till today I am not getting free Landline minutes.
I have one more complaint that while purchasing connection he asked me to pay INR 300 as deposit and for the first 3 months INR 100 will be deducted per bill for deposit settlement, but Idea customer care now tells me that out of 300, INR 100 was connection activation charged and 200 refund applicable only after 1 year.
I sincerely request you to help in this matter. I feel is this is case of fraud and misleading customers.
