My Complaint Description:
Hi,this is Mr. Aniruddha Mitra (+91 7033 298 431 / +91 9674 467 611)& I’ve an Ola account with the second no by the name “Nabo”.
I’d like to share the last experience I had with your services.
1. Booked Cab by “Ride Later” option on 5th Aug for scheduled departure at 3:00 PM,6th Aug.
2. As per your rule, confirmation about cab no, driver contacts are provided 15 minutes prior to the journey.
I didn’t get any confirmation till 3:00 PM.
3. Called Customer care(Ola Kolkata: +9133-3355-3355) they sent message:
Driver: Mr. Santu Sharma (+91 9804 749 707)
Car no: WB 19 F 9902
4. Called driver & he directly said, “I can’t come. Your area is beyond the boundary of Ola service.”
5. Again called Customer Care & she said me to hold the call as she has to discuss with the driver.
After she informed me, this driver is not coming & she’s trying to a lot me other cab.
Kept the call holding for more than 10 minutes & finally she told me that no cab can be provided for the time being & that is nearly around 4:00 PM
6. I had to go Howrah Railway station to catch train for Jamshedpur (Steel City Express, Train No.12813 PNR: 6243418325 )
Just because of your negligence in service I missed my train.
7. If the area was really out of Ola service Boundary,
a)Why was booking get confirmed easily?
b) Why was I not informed at least 2 hours before the journey commencement?
c) Whom should I ask for my compensation?
8. Please help.
