HI, I AM NIVEDITA MUKHERJEE. MY MOTHER AGED 58 YEARS AND DAUGHTR AGED 21 WERE BOOKED FOR A JET AIRWAYS FLIGHT DELHI -TORONTO ON 13TH FEB 2016. THE BOOK FOR THE SAME WAS MADE FROM MAKEMYTRIP ONE MONTH PRIOR VIDE RESERVATION ID- IN1601B8S115053. BOTH THE TICKETS HAD BEEN BOOKED WITH TWO DIFFERENT PNR NUMBERS AND PAYMENTS WERE MADE THROUGH 2 DIFFERENT CREDIT CARDS.

5TH FEB 2016, I CALLED MAKEMYTRIP TO CANCEL MY DAUGHTER'S TICKET AIRLINE PNR -UWCVFI

I SPOKE TO THEM CLEARLY THAT MY MOTHER MRS. JAYABEN MUKHERJEE WILL TRAVEL AND HER TICKET SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHED. ON THE SAME DAY MIDNIGHT I GOT EMAIL STATING THAT BOTH TICKETS ARE CANCELLED AND REFUND OF 1,46,000 PLUS IS PROCESSED ON ONE CARD. I CALLED UP MAKEMYTRIP TO DISCUSS THIS AND THEY MENTIONED THAT JAYABEN MUKHERJEE'S TICKET IS VALID AND HE CAN SEND ME A FRESH COPY OF THE SAME TO CLEAR THE CONFUSION. THAT TICKET SHOULD ARRIVE MY EMAIL ID BY 10 PM ON 6TH FEB ELSE I CAN AGAIN CALL HIM. THE TICKET VERY WELL APPEARED IN MY EMAIL AND HENCE I DID NOT CONTACT MAKEMYTRIP. MORNING I CALLED THE AIRLINES TO BOOK A WHEELCHAIR AND DOCTOR FOR THE PASSENGER MRS. JAYABEN MUKHERJEE TRAVELLING BY JETAIRWAYS FLIGHT VIDE AIRLINE PNR-QZKSOJ

FINALLY I GET TO KNOW THAT THE TICKET IS CANELLED AND UNDER REFUND AS PER INFORMATION FROM AIRLINE. IT DOES NOT STOP THERE, I CALL UP MAKEMYTRIP AND INFORM THIS AND THEY HAPPILY TELL ME NO MADAM THE TICKET IS VALID TICKET AND WHEN I SPEAK TO THE FLOOR SUPERVISOR NITIN SAINI EXTENSION NO 8001 I GET TO KNOW THAT THE TICKET SEEMS CANCELLED AND THEY ARE NOW GOING TO FIND OUT HOW THIS HAPPENED. HE WILL CALL BE BACK FOR SURE @ 6 .30 PM AND UPDATE AND SURELY GET ME MY TICKET

I DID NOT GET ANY CALL FROM HIM. SOMEONE CALLED ANISH FROM KOLKATA ACCOUNTS TEAM CALLS ME SAYING HE HAS BEEN FORWARDED THE CASE AT 5 PM AND AFTER REVIEWING THE CASE HE WANTED TO KNOW IF I HAVE RECEIVED THE PAYMENT IN MY CARD. MY TOTAL TICKET WITH NO FAULT OF MINE IS HAPPILY CNCELLED AFTER BEING CHARGED RS 10,500 CANCELLATION CHARGE IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR THEM AND ALL THAT THEY ARE WANTING TO KNOW IF I HAVE RECEIVED THE MONEY IN REFUND. AS A POLICY OF MAKEMYTRIP THE REFUND REFLECTS IN CUSTOMERS ACCOUNT IN 7-10 DAYS AND HOW ARE THEY WANTING TO CHECK IN HALF A DAY THAT REFUND IS REFLECTING IN MY CREDIT CARD. MOVING AHEAD I AM LEFT WITH NO TICKET TO TRAVEL FOR MY MOTHER, THE CURRENT TICKET COST HAS RISED TO 1.15 LAKHS IN COMPARISON TO 83000 RUPEES WHICH I BOOKED. I AM AGAIN BEEN CALLED COUPLE OF TIMES TO CONVINCE IF I CAN PAY THEM 72000 THEN THEY CAN BOOK ME A FRESH TICKET AGAIN AND BEAR THE LOSS. THEY ASSURED ME THAT THEY WILL WAIT TILL 8TH FEB MORNING TO CHECK IF THE REFUND IS CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT ELSE PROCESS A INSTATION TO TAKE BACK THE MONEY FROM BANK AND REISSUE THE TICKET. THEY HELD THE SEAT IN THE FLIGHT TO AVOID LOSING ON THE SEAT AND WAS ASSURED TO CALL ME ON 8TH FEB 2016 MORNING.

IT IS 8TH FEB TODAY, I AM ON HOLD OVER THE MAKEMYTRIP SINCE LAST 2 HOURS, NEW PEOPLE COME ONE CALL SHOW SYMPATHY AND KEEP PASSING MY CALL TO THEIR SENIORS WITH NO SOLUTION. BOTH MR. MANISH SAINI, MR. ANISH AND MS SUCHARITA ARE NOT COMING ON CALL GIVING LAME EXCUSES

I HAVE UNDERGONE TREMEDIOUS EMOTIONAL TRAUMA AND STRESS DUE TO ALL THIS SINCE 5TH FEB AND I NOT ONLY WANT THEM TO SUI THEM FOR THIS BUT ALSO CLAIM 5 TIMES OF THE VALUE OF MY TICKET AS PENALTY TO MY MENTAL TRAUME.I DONOT HAVE MONEY TO REBOOK A NEW TICKET, REFUND HAS NOT REFLECTED IN MY CREDIT CARD AS YET, I HAVE BEEN CHARGED CANCELLATION FOR THE TICKET WHICH WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE CANCELLED AND LEFT TO BUY A TICKET WHICH IS AROUND 45000 RUPEES EXPENSIVE THAN THE TICKET BOOKED BY ME AND I HVE NO SOLUTION FOR MY OLD MOTHER TRAVELING ALONE. I HAD TO BUY INSURANCE FOR HER TRAVEL, BOOK HER WHEELCHAIR, BOOK A DOCTOR AND NOW I DONOT KNOW WHAT WILL I DO.

THE WHOLE COMPANY MAKE FOOL OF SIMPLE PEOPLE AND ARE NOT AT ALL SERIOUS ABOUT ANYONES PROBLEM AND ARE TOO CASUAL IN THEIR APPROACH EVEN AFTER SUCH A BIG GOOF UP

AN IMMEDIATE ACTION AND CASE CLAIMING COMPENSATION ON THIS WILL BE APPRECIATED
