Subject: Not considering basic human rights.
My Name: Rudresh Trivedi
My City: Ahmedabad
My Complaint Against: One assist
Complaint Category: Insurance Companies
Claim Amount (Approx.): 7274
My Complaint Description:
I purchased an MI 2 Prime mobile worth Rs.6999/- from Xiomi company and also got registered for accidenta damage by paying Rs.275/- towards the mobile company. Now, 15 days later the mobile phone got damaged due to an accident, which I clearly explained while applying for the claim to the insurance company(One assist). They have rejected the claim although it was an accident, that was the first disappointment and now it's already 6th day as I got a text massage from one of the service centres of the mobile company, located at Ahmedabad(Gujarat). On not receiving the mobile even after getting the text massage, I went to the service centre for taking my mobile and the executive representing the insurance company denied me to hand me over my mobile phone and said, they will send it to my mail address.
I believe that it is the basic human rights to have a thing which actually belong to him/her, as I have purchased the mobile by paying for it to the company.
I want the following things to be verified…..
1) The reason/reasons they have rejected my claim is correct?
2) Why the executive denied to handover my thing to me?
3) Is there any need to give estimated duration for the service they are providing when the thing in question is very essential for the consumer for his/her day to day use.
Hoping to be favoured.
Thanks & Regards.
