My Complaint Description:
I have purchased samsung galaxy s6. However when I opened the seal on 14.2.2016, the phone was found to be defective. Went to the service centre immediately. They said the phone is defective and can be replaced as they have a 7 day replacement policy. Next day when I had taken the phone to get it replaced they refused to do the same stating the reason that a sticker on the box is missing. I have the entire box with me along with the bill as it is. I have tried following up but they are not willing to cooperate. Now my point is when I have paid the entire amount why should I accept a defective piece?? I am not willing to settle even for a repair because out rightly giving a defective piece is not justified on samsungs behalf. Why should I compromise when I have paid the entire amount and purchased the phone? Also they have nowhere mentioned on the box that it should be opened carefully with all the stickers on it so that incase it is a defective piece they need that small paper for replacement. As a common consumer how would I be aware of that? Hence just because of a piece of paper they cannot deny me replacement. Especially after the service centre themselves claimed that the phone is defective and NEEDS replacement. They cannot step back after committing to me that they would replace the phone. I have been trying to follow up constantly but no proper response has been received. This kind of behavior is least expected for a company called samsung. Highly disappointed. Please resolve the issue at the earliest and give me a new replaced piece to avoid further course of action from my side.
