My Complaint Description:
I purchased ceramic tiles from CERA for my house (non-commercial use) (Invoice number – R/0366) bought from Deep Traders, Ahmedabad on 10-July-2015 (Invoice available).

In this order, I received a total of 5 boxes of Cera 1010F bathroom floor tiles. Among this, there were 2 boxes from the batch of March 2015 and 3 boxes from the batch of May 2015. Due to this, there was a vast visible difference in the color shades of both the tiles and these tiles could not be used together for the same flooring. But due to lack of lighting in an under construction bathroom and assuming good and uniform quality tiles from a reputed company like CERA, these tiles were affixed by the masons irrespective. After seeing the color difference, I immediately got in touch with Mr. Nishant Patel and Mr Rahul (Dealers for Cera from whom I purchased the tiles), who confirmed the difference in shades and agreed to send us new boxes of the latest lot of tiles without any charges. I received the replacement of tiles in a few days.

But since the defective tiles were already fixed to the floor by the masons, there was an additional labor and material cost I had to incur to remove the defective tiles and replace them with new ones. This cost is actually more than the cost of the tiles themselves and I paid around Rs.2500/- for it.

Since the rework is required because of defect in the tiles I received from CERA, I would need a reimbursement for this additional cost of labor+material for the rework that I incurred.

I sent multiple emails to all CERA email IDs available on their website ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]) on 29-July-2015. But I have not received any response from them whatsoever.

I need your intervention in this so that I'm able to claim the reimbursement from CERA.
