I bought a sky bag suitcase on 6th june from shoppers stop outlet at ambience mall, Vasant kunj for rs. 5600(approx) after enough assurance by the salesman about the quality and brand. On our arrival we were stopped at customs at Amsterdam airport because the lock of our suitcase was found broken and for security reasons we had to open for thorough check. Imagine our embarrassment and humiliation at the start of our holiday. We had to buy another suitcase as we could not use this anymore being without locking system. We had to shell out 140 Euros out of our holiday fund.
I have to ask for ₹18000 compensation, cost of both the suitcases. Besides this I could very well claim for the harassment and false assurance. And it's a bad name for the co. Of your repute and goodwill. I can submit the details of payment, photos of the faulty suitcase.
Look forward to an adequate apology and compensation.
