My Complaint Description:
I had ordered for a Micromax Canvas Spark(Rs.4999) from SnapDeal on 6th May 2015 which was delivered on 8th May 2015. I used the phone and found that the charger which was provided for the handset in the sealed box was faulty and did not work, hence, i contacted the snapdeal customer care and asked them to initiate a refund for the product since they had refused for a replacement. The product was picked up from my office premises on 21st May 2015 and it was updated on the snapdeal account the same day itself. I had received a mail on 21st May 2015 to provide my bank account details online to which I had replied the very same day. Somehow I had send a wrong IFSC code and hence money transfer was unsuccessful. They gave us the reason and then we provided them with the correct code. But the refund transfer was canceled again. This has happened multiple times and we have been providing them with correct IFSC code again and again. But now they are giving vague explanations and saying that the refund requested is not genuine.
It is over 2 months that they have not refunded the amount. The amount is not a small amount(Rs. 4999). Every time I speak to the customer care they say that they are initiating the refund request again and please wait 4 days. This has been happening repeatedly and has resulted in a wait of 64 days.

  4. Please don’t give me your fake apologies. After my email to snapdeal ([email protected]) today, I received a call around 1 pm from +911166795000 where a person told me that my request is UNGENIUNE and the refund WILL NOT BE GIVEN back. Also the gentle man said that he does not have a reason for this as the finance team is giving them this explanation. Please explain what is snapdeal trying to do?
    EITHER GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR GIVE ME THE PRODUCT. I really don’t understand how do they have the mouth to tell me after 2 whole months of taking the product back that it is not genuine and that they will not refund the money back

    Don’t give this kind of explanation because I heard this kind of explanation so many time. So, please tell me about the progress against my complain. What are you doing to resolve and how much time it will take?

    How many more times are you guys gonna copy paste your illogical answers?
    Please tell me why are you not refunding my money or giving me my phone back? And please don’t send copy paste your answer from a template, give me a specific reason as to why you people are so slow and why haven’t you guys resolved this problem in soooo many days?

    No my problem is not resolved yet. On 17th Aug , I got a call that your refund has been initiated and the amount will reflect in your account within 4 working days.
    But , still I didn’t get my money. I ask this to you by online query on snapdeal.com on 21st Aug but didn’t get any reply.
    Please tell me what is going on.

    Today, I talked to a customer care executive, she said that the refund which was initiated on 14th aug’15, has been rejected.
    They won’t be able to refund my money or replace the product.
    How can they talk like that?
    since last three months when I called or send a mail to them ,they said that they are working on it and then on 14th Aug, they told me they have initiated the refund. Now, they are saying it got rejected when I called to them.

    What is this, what is going on? Can you explain?

    Since three months they are working on it. What are they doing I don’t know. If they are really working on it then what is the resolution? Which kind of service is this? I will get my money or it will go in infinite loop. Please tell me
