My Complaint Description:
I am forced to escalate a complain against Tatasky as I have tried every possible means to get a solution however have failed.
The matter here is of just Rs.540 however the way Tatasky is handled the matter is highly unethical and clearly shows how even a company like Tata known for their honesty have changed over time.
Tatasky had replaced the wire at my residence and I was charged Rs540 for the same in the month of July’18. Within a span of 2 months we had repeated problems so once the setup box was replaced and the 2nd time the technician informed us that the wire that was replaced is melting and spoiling the setup box. Its better to get the wire replaced. I called up the Tatasky call centre to register a complain and made the technician talk to explain the issue. I was then informed that the wire would be replaced free of cost as it bears 365 days of warranty. The very next day the work was done and I have been debited of the charges. Registered a complain with the call centre(complaint no 1892jxp9), even filed a complain on consumercompalins, the only thing tatasky has done is different people calling me, asking for the same problem, different versions but no-one ready to accept the mistake. They have now gone to the extent of saying that the last wire did not have any warranty and the new one now holds a 1 year warranty. When I insisted to give me the same in writing, no one is ready to do that.
I have renewed my connection for 2 years and have paid Rs.18000/-, just to prove that it is not about the money but the attitude of the people working at tatasky that has changed over the years from a customer friendly organisation to customer fleecing organisation.
Pls look into the matter and would request you to take a strong stand against such service providers.
