My Complaint Description:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I Arpit Nair is hereby lodging a complaint against Tikona Broadband due to continuous harassment by the customer care personnel. Given by below are the following details of our connection:

Date of connection : 16 april 2016
Plan: 3 months 4mbps 30gb and 512kbps unlimited (BBM4M750)

We installed this connection on 16 april 2016. Our connection was started late night around 11:30 that day. We were promised a speed of 3-3.5 mbps by Mr vijay makwana (sales person). But from the very first day we were facing regretting issues.
Continuously for few initial 15 days with a gap of a day or two engineers tried fixing the issue for 5-6 times and we also called their customer care number about 13-15 times. But yet we were not assisted with any permanent solution. Engineer visits our place, fixes the issue it goes well for few hours and the same problem arises again.
We also approached our area's tikona head Mr Mahendra but we didn't get any positive response even from him.
We were misguided by their executives regarding problem with our router but we were not even getting any login page when connected directly through cable. Customer care person kept us waiting for hours and they didn't direct us to any of the senior authority.
Due to these problems we demanded a refund on 1 May 2016 by sending a mail to two of the mail id's given by customer care i.e. support@tikona.in and customercare@tikona.in but yet we didn't get any reply for it.

This same thing continued till the end of our connection. In between our continuing connection we applied for cancellation, our cancellation was terminated without informing us. Cancellation request id= 1-4058715721. Again many engineers kept on visiting our place and no permanent solution was brought for it. We even spoke to many senior executives who promised us with various schemes like compensating the duration of plan with an addition of an extra month. After-then whenever we requested for cancellation, they kept on forcing to give the company one more try to fix the issue.
After coming to know that they had terminated our previous cancellation request, we applied for yet another cancellation request.
Now we are forced to pay the amount that they have generated of Rs.1715 of which we have not used any data.
So now they are harassing us daily by calling and threatening to take legal actions against us.
I request you to stop this threats as soon as possible and show us some way out.

  1. They also does the same thing with one of my friend i have heard of it. I also told them to cancel my connection and i told them to give written confirmation of cancellation . And they told me to disconnect adpater on billing date so i did the same. but a normal person never know these things so they harass them . its not u r fault they have not clear these things to anyone they are evil in there business practices .

    It seems like there are lots of fooled customers like me who are being cheated and harassed by tikona seeing the numbers of complaints against them. Since i posted my initial complaint, i have not yet received any satisfactory results, instead today i received a legal notice from an advocate demanding for the payment. A month back for the follow up of my complaint i got a mail asking to return the modem, the number they gave was never working due to which i am not able to give the modem back. I have no problems returning back the modem. But the amount they are demanding even after their failed network which had never satisfactorily worked according to their commitment to the speed i would be receiving according to the plan is really disturbing. The amount they are demanding today is more than what they asked last time which is Rs.1843.
    The amount keeps on added up for no reason even after it was me who suffered from their disappointing network. I don’t understand for what reason I should pay them after it was me who suffered and not them. I applied for cancellation twice, firstly during my ongoing connection which tikona cancelled according to their will and secondly when later on i came to know that my initial complaint was cancelled from their side.
    They are trying to threaten now by the legal notice.
    Tikona is a fraud company who harasses their customers when there is a mistake from their side so that they are never in fault and it’s the consumers like me who is fooled.
    I want grahak suraksha to please take my complaint seriously and help people like me who are being fooled by this company.
