I thought Videocon and Vijay Sales are a good brand who care about their repo and do provide service accordingly.
I have bought a Videocon LED VKC55FH from Vijay Sales Memnagar Branch on 08.06.2014.
The TV is not working since last 2 months and I have booked my 1st complaint with Vijay Sales in May 1st week (I confirmed if I need to call Videocon but the Vijay Sales guy told its not required). No guy from Videocon called or visited in next few days and I called up Vijay Sales again few more times and finally a guy visited my residence confirmed that a part is to be replaced and he will call in 2 days to confirm. Thereafter I have been receiving only to ask the feedback of the service for the call which was never complete and I was told that the part will be replaced soon on company’s cost as the warranty still continues.
Now today I have been told that the guy will re-visit as the previous call was closed and the charges have to be paid.
• How can a company close the call without providing service and the repair being still pending?
• Why does a customer has to pay if the complain was registered during the warranty period? Videocon has not provided service for 2 months, is this customers fault?
Today I received a number of some senior person of Videocon (Mr. Harsh) but he has not been picking my call and now I cannot wait any further. This is height of frustration, (Nam bade aur darshan chhote). How can a company like Videocon ignore customer complaint for 2 months and how can a company like Vijay Sales not do anything about it.
