My Complaint Description:
I purchased a Renault Duster Petrol RXL version on 12 Aug 2013 from Gen Next Motors Ltd, Thane, Mumbai. Since I bought the car, I felt that the stearing is not smooth, but then thought probably the car being new, the stearing may take some time to loosen up. After a few days, I also noticed some abnormal noise coming out of the stearing while driving and found out that the stearing oil was leaking. I complained this to the showroom staff via telephone and then followed by email on 27 Aug 2013. Next day people came from the road side assistance to take the car to the nearest service station. I did not allow them to take the car as over the phone the customer care executive informed that they will take the car to Bharuch service station while the staff who came wanted to take the car to the Surat service station. I was also told that a mechanic will come along with them to check the car but no one turned up. Finally after rigorous follow ups over the phone and email, they took the car to the Surat Service station on 2 Sept 2013 and still they have not got back, when they will return our car and what all problems are there in the car. First of all we waited for 4 months to get the car in petrol version and now we have been handed over a defective car which started showing trouble within 2 weeks of its purchase. I am really heartbroken and the kind of service I am getting from Renault is very poor. I had bought this car keeping in mind to travel long distances with the plan of expanding my business, but all that has gone in vein now. I dont have any vehicle now and need to commute in public transport since the last 2 weeks. The defective car is not all that the company has given me, there are faults in the paper work also. The CRTM generated for the car states the billing date of 12 Aug 2013 while the bill from the showroom has been dated as 22 Aug 2013. The car version in the CRTM has been mentioned as diesel instead of petrol. Due to all this my registration has got delayed and I need to pay a penalty of huge amount to RTO for the car. I feel cheated that I went ahead and bought a Renault car and trusted the brand name. I would request you to kindly look into this matter and help me to bring about a solution to the issues I am facing right now as I am helpless since none of the staff is paying attention to this matter.
