My Complaint Description:
My father and mother have been using the current Godrej refrigerator since 2005. Unfortunately recently i.e. 14th August 2018, they complained regarding their refrigerator which wasn’t cooling. The refrigerator is well in the active AMC application no. 161016344 valid till 24th March, 2021.
A technician visited them and serviced but the problem didn’t resolve. Again several complains were made to even receive a new technician but the problem still didn’t get solved.
A repeat complaint again was made – again a new technician came and replaced the timer yet the issue of cooling didn’t got solved.
Like this several complains have been made but the problem stands as it is. Now since more than a month no technician has come despite his complaints.
Lastly service centre staff refused to serve citing that parts of the said fridge are no more available. On me reaching out to Godrej support team they have refused to honour the AMC and are offering the return the AMC about for the current year only.
An AMC is like an insurance of the appliance from the company itself to ensure that the product shall be kept in working condition by the company during the tenure of AMC.
However, as GODREJ is not honouring its own ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT and such behaviour of not addressing the complaint and denying service is not acceptable.
Even if manufacturing of the parts has been stopped of the said model it is responsibility of the Godrej to howsoever serve the client in case of AMC.
