On Jan 11 I booked a ticket for GSRTC Volvo from Bharuch Narmada GNFC ST Stand to Ahmedabad. To my chagrin, the first booking actually failed due to unknown reason but the amount got deducted anyhow.
When I booked it 2nd time for a shorter distance of upto CTM Cross roads, it finally booked a seat and I was relieved.
FOr refund procedures usually on other online platforms it is right away, you don't have to send a mail or two. But as GSRTC website suggests, you have to send a mail to "erefund".
I sent the mail to erefund on Jan 11 itself and also received a ticket number and tracking link. As of today on Jan 24th, the tracking link is dead an I have not received a single rupee of refund.
Now this is typical government corruption. Even after failing transaction, their accounts department is not even bothering to match the tally or cross check. I am sure I will no longer make a mistake to book ticket on their website as it is absolute waste of money. I booked a ticket on redbus and the refund for failed transaction is almost instant. I booked ticket on GSRTC my money was stolen (just another day in government office).
I hope this issue is looked at, I don't want to be crying for my money but this shouldn't happen to someone else.
